What’s up with the mailboxes???

It’s the question we all want an answer.

And I have one!

The mailboxes for houses in Phase 3 (people who currently do not have mailboxes in front of their houses) are in progress.  But you already knew that — you saw the cute white posts out front, right?

So, why are they not finished?  Well, the mailboxes could not be installed on the posts until we have some solid non-freezing weather; the adhesive will only work in non-freezing weather.  Oh, the joys of Michigan seasons!

Anyway, after the weather starts agreeing, the mailbox work should be complete within 4-6 weeks.

If you have any more questions about the mailboxes, please contact the Architecture & Development Review committee at adrc@mychv.com.

The last spring frost is historically April 26, so add 4-6 weeks onto that & we should see completed mailboxes by sometime in 2014?

Nick … I enjoy your sarcasm, but I hope your math is not right!

Will the original villagers with the ugly green mail boxes be getting the nice new white ones??

Will we be getting back our mail boxes that were removed during the past week from the “bank” of mail boxes by the park?

How long is that hole next to our mail box going to be there at 50178 Harding? It’s been at least a month so far. We are the only ones on Harding without the new white boxes. Even with the yellow tape over the hole it still has the potential of a accident and law suit waiting to happen?
