Cherry Hill Village kids Grace and Elise Bowlby, along with a few other neighbors, will be selling crafts this Sunday, September 4th at the Farmers Market (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). A portion of the proceeds will be going to the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Look for the “Summer Club Crafts” table at the market.
From Tina Bowlby, Grace and Elise’s mom:
“My daughter Grace came up with a business plan all on her own for a table at the Farmer’s Market and presented it to Tina, who coordinates all the volunteers and vendors. Tina said she had never been approached by such a well-prepared young person and was so impressed that she went to the township to try to get approval for Grace to sell crafts that she made with friends.
Their table was approved, and they will be selling crafts made by kids for kids with a portion of the proceeds going to the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
Grace, her sister Elise, and several other friends from the neighborhood and Workman would LOVE to have as many people as possible stop by their table to say HI and see if anything strikes their fancy. “
