Two CHV teens restore community sign posts

Jack Griffin and Adrian Simion, two Cherry Hill Village high school seniors, have put in over 20 hours total of community service restoring sign posts around the neighborhood.

These two teens painted 15 neighborhood sign posts, including scraping, priming and painting.  They restored posts at the Cherry Hill entrances along Patriot and Roosevelt, all of Harding Street, and the northern stretch of Roosevelt Street.  They also restored one post that was in particularly bad shape at the corner of Buchanan and Jackson.

If you see either Jack Griffin or Adrian Simion, or Jack’s father Brian Griffin, tell them thank you for their efforts and community service.

A good deed is never lost. He who sows courtesy, reaps friendship; he who plants kindness, gathers love; pleasure bestowed on a grateful mind was never sterile, but generally gratitude begets reward. – St. Basil
