Join us for Spooky Saturday, October 15th, 2-4pm

Our annual kids’ Halloween costume party, Spooky Saturday, will be October 15th from 2 to 4 p.m.  We will be at the DTE Easement (off of Jackson).

NOTE:  We STILL need 3-4 volunteers to help run the games and crafts to make this event a success.  If you are able to donate a couple hours of your time, then please contact the Social Committee at  If we do not have enough volunteers, we may need to cancel this event.

What to expect:

  • Halloween-themed games with prizes from 2-3pm.
  • Halloween-themed crafts
  • Cider and donuts from a local cider mill
  • Small pumpkins to decorate
  • A costume parade around 2:30pm
  • A “spooky” (but not scary) walk with treats through the woods

What bring:

  • Kids in costume, of course! This event is geared at children (and their parents) ages 12 and under (older siblings welcome)
  • A $2 per child donation for the Social Committee (to offset party costs) … or you are welcome to donate $20 per family for the entire year of social events

I purchased the Fathers Day basket from the Social Committee and did not receive it. I never received any comunication from the Committee although they have been contacted several times. It is not about the money but the lack of common Courtesy that bothers me. I was part of the original Socail committee and we did not treat residents they way you have treated me.

Hi Ron — I am part of the Social Committee, and forwarded your note onto them when you originally asked about this. Three people — Tammy Russo, Blake Crady, and Kelly Wegner — all responded to your request (I was part of the email chain). But you never followed up with them. Are you sure that their responses didn’t end up in your spam box maybe? Please reply to them directly, or you can start a new email request to the Social Committee at Please be assured that your request was answered and not ignored.
