Hello Cherry Hill Village Neighbors!!

Spring is upon us. Which means Spring Fever and Spring Cleaning!

We would like to spruce up our own neighborhood as well! And we’d like to ask for your help in making things look good. It has been a long time since we had mulched beds in our parks and play areas. We are always looking for ways to improve our surroundings while saving money! To make that possible, we are asking for volunteers to help distribute mulch.

We will save about half the cost of mulching if we get it delivered and distribute it ourselves. We thought we would do at least one trial area and see how things go. So bring your shovels, rakes, wheel barrows and community spirit! The one area that could use it the most is the playscape area at the large park in Phase III at Constitution and Jefferson.

We will have 40 yards of mulch delivered on that morning. Bring a friend and spend a few hours helping out!

For more info or to sign up, please call Barb Babut at 734-218-2083 or drop a note to bbabut@comcast.net. We would need coverage with at least 10 people available all day.

Trash bags will also be available for cleaning up debris, weeds, and trash around the parks.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

(Also….Does anyone have access to a Bobcat for added convenience of moving mulch?)
