Thanks to all who participated in our Cookie Bouquet fund-raising efforts! Twenty families ordered a Bouquet and we raised $155 to go towards the future purchase of a movie projector so that we can resume our Camp Out & Movie nights this summer. Also, thank you to the families who donated to the Social Committee in the month of January! All contributions are appreciated. We look forward to our upcoming Spring events…

The Social Committee is selling Cookie Bouquets for Valentine’s Day this year!

REMINDER: All orders must be received by THIS Friday, February 3rd!

These sweet gifts will be delivered to any home in Cherry Hill Village on Sunday, February 12th.

You can get a bouquet for your sweetie, kids, or neighbor! All proceeds will be donations to the Social Committee to be used to fund our various events throughout the year.

Choose between:

Bouquet of 5 cookies for $5, or
Bouquet of 5 cookies and 2 Mylar balloons for $10.

The Social committee is a group of residents who volunteer their time and efforts to make each season in the neighborhood memorable. The Social committee brings together a list of events through out the year, including the upcoming Bunny Day and the recent holiday progressive.

The Social committee could not do it without countless volunteers and the donations of the residents of Cherry Hill Village.

The Social Committee strives to create memorable events every year that bring the residents of Cherry Hill Village together socially. We want to strengthen the the community bonds, and spread a little cheer.

The Social committee operates solely from donations from the community and a few fund-raising events throughout the year. You can provide your donation SECURELY online through paypal.com by clicking on the link below. You are welcome to provide a few dollars per person at each event you attend, or just provide $20 annually (this also helps us to plan ahead). Of course, more is always welcome!

The Social Committee would like to send a huge thank you out to all the donors and volunteers for our adopt-a-family charity giving!

We adopted 4 families in need this year, providing gifts for the holiday season.

Snow and ice removal on sidewalks

Winter is on it’s way, so time for the annual reminder about snow removal!

Canton Township Ordinance requires that property owners/occupants remove snow and ice from sidewalks in front of homes within 72 hours of a snow event (but removal within the first 24 sure would be neighborly!).

All Cherry Hill I (houses) occupants are required to clear their own sidewalks. Cherry Hill II (condominiums) are cleared by the homeowners association. Condos are also provided with salt buckets for ice on the porches and steps.

Sidewalks in the parks and other common areas are also cleared by the homeowners association.

Be a good neighbor: If you get out there first, clear your neighbor’s walk, too. Maybe they’ll return the favor next time.

Join us for the Children’s Holiday Party on Saturday, Dec. 10th, 2-4pm

Come down to Childtime — on Cherry Hill Rd. (next to IHA) — for some good times and holiday cheer. The party is Saturday, December 10th from 2-4pm. We’ll have games, crafts and snacks for the little ones. This event is tailored to kids 12 and under (but siblings are welcome).

The jolly old man himself, Santa Claus, will also make an appearance. The kids will be able to write letters and hand deliver their Christmas wishes to Santa.

The Social Committee is asking for a $2 per child or $5 per family donation to cover party costs.
