REMINDER: Join us for Spooky Saturday, Oct 13th at 3 p.m.

Our annual kids’ Halloween costume party, Spooky Saturday, will be October 13th starting at 3 p.m.  We will be at the old Schoolhouse at the corner of Cherry Hill and Ridge Rd — a NEW location for this event!

Schedule:

  • 3 p.m. — Join us inside the Schoolhouse for Halloween-themed games with prizes and crafts.  We’ll also have small pumpkins to decorate and some cider and donuts for snacking.
  • 4:30 p.mTrick or treating around the local businesses.  We’ll provide a map, and families can walk from business to business collecting goodies!
  • 5:00 p.m. — Our Halloween-themed double-feature with popcorn for the kids.  This will be back in the Schoolhouse.

Join us for Spooky Saturday, October 15th, 2-4pm

Our annual kids’ Halloween costume party, Spooky Saturday, will be October 15th from 2 to 4 p.m.  We will be at the DTE Easement (off of Jackson).

NOTE:  We STILL need 3-4 volunteers to help run the games and crafts to make this event a success.  If you are able to donate a couple hours of your time, then please contact the Social Committee at social@mychv.com.  If we do not have enough volunteers, we may need to cancel this event.

What to expect:

  • Halloween-themed games with prizes from 2-3pm.
  • Halloween-themed crafts
  • Cider and donuts from a local cider mill
  • Small pumpkins to decorate
  • A costume parade around 2:30pm
  • A “spooky” (but not scary) walk with treats through the woods
